Leslea peirson

Leslea Peirson, PhD, Review Coordinator

Leslea joined the EPHPP team in Fall 2010 after completing a 2-year (CHSRF/CIHR funded) postdoctoral fellowship focused on knowledge translation and evidence informed decision making in public health. Prior to the fellowship Leslea worked at the National Collaborating Centre for Methods and Tools where she contributed to an analysis of public health research gaps and coordinated the development of an on-line registry of knowledge translation methods and tools for public health. Leslea has a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Community Psychology both from Wilfrid Laurier University. She spent six years working in applied social/health research settings before going back to school to complete a PhD in Health and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Toronto.
