Donna Fitzpatrick-Lewis, MSW, Senior Research Coordinator
Donna is the Senior Research Coordinator at EPHPP where she has worked for the past three years. Donna has a Master of Social Work degree with a focus on Social Welfare Policy. Her graduate work examined risk and reintegration of federal sentenced women in a Canadian context. At EPHPP, Donna has co-authored several major systematic reviews. Creation of the reviews involves several steps including developing research questions, quality assessment and data extraction, report writing and meetings with review group members. Donna is experienced in listening to and responding to demands from key stakeholders. This is also reflected in her role as a research coordinator at the School of Social Work at McMaster University where Donna contributes to major research projects by completing ethics applications, analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data, doing extensive writing and conducting interviews. Donna comes to this project with clinical social work experience of counseling people in conflict with the law, many of whom had addiction and/or mental health issues.
